Tuscany is the most unique area that you will ever visit and the city of Florence is certainly no exception. It is actually one of the most amazing cities you will ever visit.

When it comes to transportation, one of the areas that you’re going to become familiar with is the Florence Airport, which is also known as the Amerigo Vespucci Airport. It is just 3 miles northwest of central Florence.

Once you arrive to Florence, you can rent a car from Avis, Europcar, Elite, Budget, Sixt and Thrifty, Hertz, or Maggiore. Many individuals choose to rent a car from the airport in order to get around during their stay. When they are finished, they just return the car before they leave. This is one of the most convenient ways to get around, especially if you intend on doing any traveling outside of Florence. Much of Florence can be explored on foot. If you don’t intend on leaving the city, then you may wish to have a taxi, train, or an airport bus take you to your hotel in florence. But many people choose to make tours of tuscany countryside during their stay.

And when you need to change currency, you can do that at the airport as you’re coming and going. Basically, everything you need upon your arrival and when you are leaving is right there so that everything can go seamlessly. You can even grab something to eat and drink while you are there. There are some amazing pizzas that can be bought at the airport. Pizza lovers will go crazy over the pies or pieces of pies that they can purchase. There’s also a self-service open bar that you can treat yourself to and actually read some newspapers and magazines while you’re at it. That way the time passes when you have to stay a while.
